I was shopping at the grocery store the other day and a woman locked eyes with me.
She was talking on the phone but she walked over to me and said, “Can I give you my card?”
When I asked her why she wanted to do that, she told me she did psychic readings and that my “energy was ...” and then I interrupted her and immediately gave her an adamant “no”.
She tried to convince me again and again I stopped her so she walked away.
In the time span of ONE week, I had 3 of these encounters, not including those that suddenly began appearing on my feed.
Why am I sharing this?
Because the fact that a misled people are more unashamed to approach strangers with what they believe to be truth than believers are, is well, sad.
Shouldn’t we have hit the ground running after hearing about what our destination would’ve been had it not been for the Mediator interfering?
Shouldn’t we be full of confidence knowing well Who’s we are?
Shouldn’t we be full of fire ready to share the treasure which we’ve been graced into with others?
If they are loud, we’ve got to be louder.
If they are unashamed, we’ve got to be bolder.
If they are willing, we’ve got to be commanding.
“For God has not given us a Spirit of Fear, but of power and love and a sound mind. Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord.”
2 Timothy 1:7-8
