Neutrality is an illusion sold by a fallen prince

Writer: Wild By NatureWild By Nature

There is a dark war taking place in the spirit realm. So much so it is now tangible in the physical.

We have an ancient, sinister foe poisoning our divine family with fear and division attempting to dismantle Christ’s identity in us.

To refuse to acknowledge this is to forfeit our strength.

One of the weapons used against us to entrap our minds is the lie that says embracing a neutral stance where God has called us to action is actually an option.

Many of us have been enticed by this snare.

If he can get us to believe we have the option of remaining silent without causing anyone harm and without incriminating ourselves,

Then he manages to get us to forfeit what makes us threatening.

We remember the garden.

Adam’s passivity was judged just as evil as Eve’s deliberate decision to stray which earned us all the death penalty.

One could argue that neutrality is as passivity. That passivity is as participation.

And passivity lands us either for or against something.

Present culture circulates the thought that there are no hard lines. That wrong is right. That right is wrong. That indifference is virtue. That being uninvolved means no adherence.

And yet, every combatant knows neutrality is nonexistent in battle.

But we dare ask,

Is God neutral?

Is He a pacifist?

//“The Lord is a warrior; Yahweh is his name!” Exodus‬ ‭15‬:‭3‬ ‭//

God? A man of war?

Where would we be had God not deemed our hearts enough reason to wage war for?

Where would we be had He “stayed out of it”?

Silence is neutrality.

Neutrality is passivity.

Passivity is endorsement.

What we do or don’t do with our voices will echo in the generations to come.

Every believer is mantled for war.

Our call to arms is prayer.

But our responsibility is to ensure it echoes in the natural.

Powers in the heavens are fighting for your allegiance.

To whom will you pledge yours to?

““Now therefore fear the Lord and serve him in sincerity and in faithfulness. Put away the gods that your fathers served beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord. And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.””

‭‭Joshua‬ ‭24‬:‭14‬-‭15‬ ‭ESV‬‬
